my boyfriend has an online friend crush with this guy If you've ever gone dancing with us you have to admit there are some pretty bizarre similarities.
We found this guy 'cause every time we tried to find a song or video, we instead found this guy dancing to whatever we where looking for. I guess he posts a video a day and he even posts "dance challenges!"
I think I'm in love times 2.
Also we started watching twin peaks. make that times 3.

His name is Logo. And he is adorable.
We just got rock band and brawl in the same week. Which was pretty poor planning. We had been sort of holding out for rock band on the wii, but they just keep saying it will be released someday but won't give a date. So we just got it for the ps2. I really like trying to play the drums, and James even brought out his actual drum thrown.
I really love Brawl. here is our friend code: 0688-4922-1663 Zach, Lauren I'm not really sure how it works yet but I added you.

we made a journey last weekend, we traveled to a distant land filled with over sized axes and oxen. This land beheld the wonder of this wonderful craigslist find. It's a vintage '60s Japanese pachinko pinball machine. We cleaned out a few dust bunnies and a bizarre little cocoon and it works pretty well. Although we are short by about 300 little ball bearings.

"The US military is developing a robot with a teddy bear head to help carry injured soldiers out of combat. The "friendly appearance" of the robot is designed to put the wounded at ease. The 6ft tall Bear can cross bumpy ground without toppling thanks to a combination of gyroscopes and computer controlled motors to maintain balance. It is expected to be ready for testing within five years. 'It is also narrow enough to squeeze through doorways, but can lift 135kg (500 lbs.) with its hydraulic arms in a single smooth movement, to avoid causing pain to wounded soldiers. While the existing prototype slides its arms under its burden like a forklift, future versions will be fitted with manoeuvrable hands to gently scoop up casualties. The Bear is controlled remotely and has cameras and microphones through which an operator sees and hears. It can even tackle stairs while carrying a human-sized dummy.'"
ummm.... I want that.

I have a bike now. this is what it looked like before my dad and I took it apart and fixed it all up.

this is what it looks like now.

I am pumped! I still want to get a nice old seat for it and maybe a basket for the back.
I had a great weekend. It was the first one that felt like spring and maybe even summer. I got a sunburn, made a bike, attended two bbqs and went to Portsmouth to meet Mary. (not in that order) I also repaired my broken kite and got a travel case to keep them all in, that is now in the trunk of my car, you know for impromptu kite team meetings. I think this is going to be a very very good summer!

now that I have your attention.
I have the day off because the elevator shaft in the office is flooded. creepy.
Here are some new things: I finally got a wireless guitar controller for two player shredding. so let's rock out ok? One rule, you have to dance while you play. Also I had a super fun dance party saturday night. So awesome that we had a tambourine and maracas, and at the end of the night not one metal disk was left on that tambourine, that's how hard we rocked. also I learned the hand jive. here is a highlights in under 30 second video format. percussion a go go
Anyone know where I can get the source code for a pinball game to modify?

Joe and I bought a box of 48 eggs tonight. The checkout people didn't even know what to do. It took them twenty minutes of calling around until they finally understood they are usually sold separately because no one else is so awesome as to buy the whole box of individual eggs.

Last night I made the mistake of teaching james how to play tekken. now he's better at it than I am. That's what we did instead of watch the super bowl we played tekken, made food and watched the twilight zone. There was this one episode about a man who finds out he is a robot that always scared me so much when I was little but I never knew what it was called. so I was flipping through the twilight zone companion when I saw a still of the man taking the skin off his arm to reveal wires and such, I actually gasped. I wonder if I shouldn't watch it cause it's probably not really all that scary, but I remember being terrified that I was actually a robot.

I am feeling really crafty lately. I have some idea for toys I want to make. The first one is going to be a mummy.

I got a Wii!!!! and if you think I will ever stop trying to make puns about the fact it's called a wii you are gravely mistaken. James went crazy and made like a million Miis the other night but I have a rule that they all have to include the "ii" thing so he made the Wiimones and I made a zombii. Will just bought wario and zelda for it, but I have yet to play them. I have to admit I am pretty sore from trying to pitch, and we already had one slight bowling accident, that involved hardwood floors and socks.
In other news, I got my first flat tire ever on Friday night in the middle of nowhere (Benton) and it was about -20 degrees out so my spare was frozen in the trunk. Eventually AAA came and everything worked out. I was going to get the car inspected earlier that day but decided it was better to play Metriod pinball all day, oh well. I ended up having to just get all new tires. Not knowing anything about cars I accidentally got tires that my dad claims will surly outlive my car. Also my dad helped me to fix the squeaking which was more or less out of control. So basically the grape is ready to race again.
Also I helped make sushi the other night and I really loved it. I think maybe seeing what's going into it makes it far less intimidating.
So how about if this weekend I have a big Wii party at my house? Who's in? Hey-oh!
